PS1 Console - Model SCPH-5501

Model SCPH-5501. The system is working perfectly 75% of the time. I believe either the motor is weak, or the laser is not aligned correctly. On 1 out of every 4 startups, there is cut scene skipping. I broke the entire system down, replaced a damaged cable, and cleaned it relatively thoroughly. I brought this system 'back to life' awhile ago, but don't want to invest the time on another repair. Excellent system for parts (as only the drive has any issues) or if you have a spare cd assembly, it could be drop it in and done! The controllers both seem to work 100%.
