Has anyone beaten it using the glove? If not, how far have you reached?

I couldn't beat Glass Joe with the Power Glove.

I seem to remember beating Glass Joe, but we worked at it for a few hours. Has anyone beat punch out with the U-Force?

I'd like to see someone beat punch out with a roll n rocker.

this is kind of off-topic, but I've always liked the idea of playing games with strange peripherals.
I want to try and beat FF7 with my PS1 steering wheel controller one of these days, just for the heck of it.
And I always wished there were some action/adventure games I could play with the DDR mat. There might be some, but I'm not aware of any.

I was under the impression that any game could possibly work with a DDR pad, but really hard depending on the game.
Now Soul Calibur IV with the Rock Band Drum set because my cousin didnt have another PS3 controller was crazy fun.

Never played Mike Tyson' Punch Out with the U-Force, but I did beat Super Mario Bros. with it. That should be a nice kick in the junk to those who haven't beaten it normally ;)
I was also a wiz at Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast using the fishing controller.

Anything that uses the DPad can be played with the DDR pad. Most pads only have the DPad and the 0/X/Square/Triangle keys, and maybe Select / Start, though. No sticks and no L/R buttons.
I remember reading about someone who modded one of these to play NES games...

I have tried the Power Glove with no luck. Glass Joe ripped me a new one pretty much.

I've played both Soul Calibur and Virtua Tennis on the DC with just the fishing controller. It actually works pretty well and is a great substitute for the Wii, but not really...
I've also played Gradius V on the PS2 with a DDR pad. I actually made it to the first boss, but when it began rotating while shooting the two beams, it was all over for me!

The U-Force actually did work (to a certain extent, of course, lol), though it still had problems. The Power Glove and Roll and Rocker, on the other hand, don't work much at all. Especially the Roll n' Rocker.
I couldn't do much of anything with the Power Glove, I remember we spent several hours just trying to get the damn thing to work.

I had a power glove a while back that I had at a thrift store. But I didn't know it needed the sensors for the TV or whatever, and the plug on it didn't fit into anything, It was like to controller port on the sega genesis, where you plug the controller in.
I'm assuming I was missing a crap-load of pieces too it. And then after a while the cloth part on it started rotting. But man, it was such a cool thing to wear until that point.

Never got the Power Glove to work when I was a kid...but I have played many Xbox 360 games with Rock Band peripherals just for the hell of it.

I beat Streets of Rage II on mania with the Activator, playing as Skate.

I've never had a powerglove but I've heard it's controls were cumbersome at best. I've also heard of a dude beating Soul Calibur on the hardest difficulty using the DC fishing controller.

Hell, I'd settle for just being able to beat the game with the regular controller.

You might as well ask if you have beaten Contra with your foot.

I did it one, count it, ONE time.
that armpit was soaked in sweat, and that arm also refused to quit twitching and hovering like 5 inches from my side.
I don't recommend you do it.

I beat SMB 1 with my feet once when I had a cast on my arm. Its kind of funny to try it with the NES advantage.

Arkan, did you really beat it with the glove? If so how long did it take you to beat it? Are there any tricks to controlling your moves better?

My nephew used to play whatever xbox game he fancied with the ddr mat. At some point I remember him playing Tony Hawk with the thing. At some other point I tried playing Ninja Gaiden with a Beeshu Zoomer (steering wheel controller).

I have beaten contra with my feet, but not my foot. Yes, I used the 30 lives code.
I also beat Thunder Spirits using a one hand and a standard SNES pad once. First try, too (not the hardest shooter, but not the easiest either).

Imagine trying to beat Battletoads two players with one player using the Power Glove and the other a U-Force :D

It all started out as a joke but I have the fishing controller mastered when it comes to Third Strike on the DC..
People tend to stop challenging you when you are capable of parrying their attacks, scoring double perfects and pulling off raging demon with that thing.. haha they never live it down.

it took about 2 hours. Sometimes you're really doing good and then the thing just becomes unresponsive.
there were no tricks really. I honestly think your individual setup just requires you to get used to the sweet spots.
Id bet if I hook it up on a 13 " tv, itd turn out different than a 29" TV, etc.
It also was far from fun, lol.

I played a ton of games with an NES advantage and my feet. It started as a joke but I started to get really good at it one summer.
I beat Zelda with my feet then SMB1... Rad Racer I got to the 6th track. I'm pretty sure I made it to the second Bald Bull with my feet in Punch Out!
Zelda II I couldn't get the hammer from death mountain though :(

Awesome. I could see how an Advantage would be much easier than a pad...probably more fun too. However, playing it on a standard pad helps you get better at playing on the Advantage!
