wow your title is misleading. explains why no one replied. sounds like youre talking about how good a ps3 looks like when connected to sony bravia tv.
you should definitely rename it to "Combination of PS3 + Bravia [at 60mph] = ..."
i saw this on kotaku or engadget or whatever earlier today. but yeah, its awesome. rename your thread so more people can see it.
wish i could download a high res recording of hte whole thing to rewatch without the ad part hehe

I'm still not sure what this is about. So are they just throwing expensive electronics into more expensive electronics or is this some kind of weird ad campaign?

...............Eh, what was the point of that? Is it an ad for some TV that has a PS3 built in?

No. It was a video showing how awesome the PS3 is. The TV couldn't handle it so it shattered.
Here's the video on another Youtube channel if anyone still wants to see.

What kind of ad campaign is that? Considering TV screens seem to shatter because of a mishandled Wiimote...I fail to see the connection. "A PS3 propelled at a high speed into a television breaks the television." "A flying toaster would do much the same thing." "Uh...PS3 is awesome?"
I think they just wanted an excuse to pull a Mythbusters and break shit for the hell of it.

I think you are on to something.
That would be awesome if they chucked a toaster at it

Actually, the ad was to buy any Bravia TV and get a PS3 for free. Atleast until the free PS3s are gone, which the one on the video was free PS3 number one(which is why you saw the number drop by one.)

You actually believe that? Smells like marketing gimmick to me. Although, breaking stuff for high speed film analysis is freakin' awesome. LOL
Don't think so? Look up shotgun+furbie... :p
