World of Goo is easily one of my favorite indie games so I just thought I'd give you all the heads up about this promotion. The sale runs until the 25'th. I think it's for WiiWare as well.

It's a digital game. Has anyone tried inputting one cent? Bandwidth is hardly worth anything and it's a game you probably wouldn't have bought without this promotion, so one cent seems fair.

I wouldn't say that. It's been getting tons of great reviews and winning awards. Looks like plenty of people paid 1 cent but others have paid $50 because that what they felt it was worth to them. I think the logic is that most everyone who would have paid $20 for it already did so now they get to make more people aware of it.
They're also making the results of this promotion available to the public...

If I could get it for the Wii I'd grab it, but I don't have any interest in playing it on my computer. Oh well, it's a nice gesture.

I double checked, the promotion is available for the Wii as well.

I paid $20 for it, but I'd have paid $30 if they let me play with the soundtrack turned off.

I'm assuming. It says it is anyways. Checking the Wii Shop Channel online says 1500 points though. :? I havn't checked on an actual Wii yet.
