View Full Version : Am I the only one excited about the new Jak and Daxter game?

The Jak and Daxter series is one of my all time favorites. But I barely even heard this game was coming out. It seems like no one cares about this game. It's hard to find any decent info.
Apparently it was developed by High Impact Games and not Naughty Dog. So I don't know what that's gonna mean, but it's probably not good. But it looks like they are trying to take it back to the style of first Jak and Daxter game. I hope it's at least half way decent.
Any thoughts?

Heck no man, can't wait for this week to pickup my reserve copy of Lost Frontier for the PS2, own and love all the Jak games and can't wait finally to see how this new installment plays, can't believe in 4 days I will finally been playing a new Jak & Daxter game:-).
Enjoy it man as I know I sure will.

I downloaded and played the demo of the PSP version and was very pleased with it; reminds me a lot of the first two Jak games. That said, I do wish they had made the game for the PS3 instead of the PS2, but I'll play it and enjoy it nonetheless.

If it's not a Naughty Dog game, then I'm not going anywhere near it. I feel like no one can do their franchises as well as they can -- see Crash Bandicoot.

Based on what I've heard about it so far, I'd say yes.

Well I'm picking mine up today after work. This is the first game I've had on preorder for a long time. And I won't even get to play it for a week. I'm heading out with the family on a road trip to cali, and we are leaving tonight.

I'll be wanting this new game along with the older games as I never played them. And I am a sucker for ongoing franchises.

Well, I just stopped in at game crazy where I had it preorderd and I guess its coming out tomorrow. That sucks because I'm leaving tonight for california.
Does anyone know if you can pick preorders at different game crazy stores?

Really because I picked my reserved copy up at EB Games yesterday with no problem for the PS2, haven't tried it yet as I'm to hooked to the new Ratchet & Clank game for the PS3, will start it up this weekend while I'm off.
