Are there any current-gen board games with online play?

I'm curious, because it seems like a no-brainer that there should be a game like Scrabble, Monopoly, or Life that has online play.

You know you can play board games online for free at pogo.com. Although I don't do it as much now, a bunch of my internet friends and I used to play Monopoly a couple nights a week. It's really nice.

You can also buy a game called Hasbro Family Game Night, which has been out for PS2 and Wii, and just came out for PS3. It lets you play online game with Sorry, Connect Four, Boggle, and Battleship. Of course, this costs money. Pogo.com doesn't.

Xbox Live has Ticket to Ride, Catan, Carcassone, and Spyglass Board Games (Chess, Checkers, Mancala, and Reversi).

There's a whole 'series' of Hasbro games under the 'Family Games Night' grouping on both XBLA and PSN. Something like 800 msp per game. Pretty fast 200g games too.

XBLA also has other board games like Cattan and Carassone that have online play.

Xbox 360 has Hasbro Family Game Night as well. Each game costs 800 MSP ($10), but you can buy them individually. It also includes Sorry! Sliders, Scrabble, and Yahtzee besides the ones you listed.

Eh, I do play on Pogo (which for some reason doesn't allow "Beta" in usernames... still can't figure that one out...) but I want to play an actual video game. How about retail releases of board games for PC?

<EDIT> Wow @ all of the 12:38 responses? Anyways, I've only got a Wii, DS, and PC unfortunately. Ironic how the casual system is the one with the less full-featured board games.

Well, I think you guys hit most of them.

There are also apparently European DS releases of Carcassonne, Catan, Rummikub, Jumble, Subbuteo, Scotland Yard, Stratego, and Blood Bowl...but I do not know of their online capabilities (I want all these games).

The DS has a series of Hasbro games of 3 in 1 / 4 in 1 carts. The Monopoly, Battleship, Boggle, Yahtzee cart has become very hard to find. There's also one with Clue and a few other games, and one with Uno. Again, I don't know how online playable these are, but the representations are solid. Worth looking for if you just want some board gaming goodness on the DS. There were also some on GBA.

If you like the German / Euro style game (Power Grid, Catan, etc) then you owe it to yourself to look into the website www.brettspielwelt.de/ It's an online portal that has great representations of many current Designer games. I don't play on it very often, it takes a little work to figure out the system, but they do wonderful translations of several great games.

As for PC board game releases... there are an older series of Hoyle games that have lots of classic games. I know Monopoly got a recent release, but I didn't think much of it (of course, that's probably my bias against the game itself peeking through).
