same question. if so i think i may actually drive out all the way to long island to pick one up (no wallmarts in nyc). i have been meaning to buy a 2nd one to send up at my computer desk. (i have a multi monitor setup)

If I didn't have one already I'd snag this up. I'm also interested in the Modern Warfare 2 bundle with the 250 gb hard drive. This is definitely a good deal for those that don't have them. It's just too bad it will probably lead to riots or an ugly mob scene based on the fact that they'll have like 5 in the stores.

My advice? Find a 24 hour Walmart and camp out there(in the lawn and garden section) the night before and pick it up at midnight;)

When does this ad come out officially? I am just curious how crazy it is gonna be if I show up at 8 am? If the ad comes out saturday morning, I should be fine, if it comes out the day before, maybe not so much.

It's everywhere online because all the major gaming and retail sales sites are running it, including Walmarts own website. I'm not sure if the ad will make the papers because it's a Saturday only deal but thats never stopped people from running ads before.

I think it will come down to where you live. If you live near a fairly large populated city or area than you will probably have to camp out to get this. But if you live in a relatively small town/area then you should have very little trouble aquiring this.

BTW One of Kmart's "black Friday" deals is an Elite with Pure, Lego Batman, and Halo ODST for $299 which is probably a better overall deal IMO. But after working retail for almost 10 years, I hate black Friday and there's no way I would get near any store on that day.

Well, I'm sure if you are interested in an Arcade Xbox 360, you don't really care about the online stuff or a hard drive. Some people just want to play simple games! This deal sounds pretty awesome, basically like getting $100 free dollars for buying games.

I checked that in the car and ended up going to gamestop after so I could have at least one game to try. btw I got blue dragon. Its really too bad all the accesories are so expensive. I love my ps3

My arcade came with some sonic tennis game. I've never even opened it.The days of buying a console with a good game in the box are over. Package deals are your only hope. lol. I can't believe my the NES and SNES came with some of the best games of all time. Those were good times, man.
