Huzzah!

PS3 owners who haven't had an opportunity to play what is either the SMARTEST game of 2008 or the game that MADE people FEEL really SMART in 2008, will be able to enjoy the "classic" 2D platforming puzzler on November 12th!

If you haven't played it yet and you like your platformers with heaping helpings of classic style platform game design homage/parody, variations on time-reversal, wicked platform puzzles, wicked jigsaw puzzles, and .... lots of reading about esoteric relationship drama - don't pass this one up!!

LOL, It also wanted its defence force back as well.

As a multiple PS3 owner Id say im far from a PS3 hater, I just cant believe people who wanted to play this hadnt already done so.
If we can highlight the positives of this great game appearing on the PS3 then we should be allowed to be subjective enough to point
out that negatives of its release, ie: Super Long Delay!

Now that it's available on a console that consistently works, I will.

Yeah, I said it. LOL

Post price drop, about a quarter of all PS3 owners are new PS3 owners. And I'd venture a guess that a chunk of that percentage doesn't have a 360 and/or doesn't game on PC.

I do find it a bit odd that a classic gaming community that gets excited about new 20+ year old game ports and/or homebrews on 20+ year old game systems would have a problem with a great game coming over to the PS3 give/take one. single. year.

I think Braid is not only a celebration of independent game design/production - it's a game that by nature of it's design/play aesthetic won't feel dated for a long time. There's really no reason not to celebrate it's release on ANY platform that Jonathan Blow wants to bring it to now or in the future.

But, hey, that's just me.

This is pretty good news, I played the demo earlier this year and enjoyed it very much. The thing is tho I barely play games on my PC anymore and the fact that it's coming to the PSN means that I'll actually get around to playing it when I purchase it.

Good. I can play it on a system that has a good D-Pad. Never liked using the analog stick for 2D Platforming.

Awesome. I would love to see this game ported to every platform that can handle accurately giving the full experience to the end user. To me, the game is that important. Braid has made me use more of my brainpower than just about every other one I've played in many years, and it was certainly among the most satisfying. Few games can relax and frustrate me like Braid can, all while knowing that the only thing stopping me is me.

As soon as I forget most of what I did to solve those puzzles, I will happily erase my game save and do it all again.
