Oh jeeze. My bad. I thought my signature had a link to the information . >_<

as was posted already, its a berzerk remake for the PC-Engine Super CD-ROM.

The site has been redone finally. Hopefully its clearer now.

There should be a buy-stuff button up soon (tomorrow) also!

Do you guys realize what this is?! It's the first real pressed TG16 CD game since 2001. Real CD, not CD-R or whatever. This is awesome. I for one congratulate Arkhan for doing this whole port himself. Code, graphics, music, sound FX, etc.

Anyway, I really hope people support the homebrew community if you're a PCE/TG16 fan. There are more games to come in the future too.

Yeah, you dudes need to wake up for this shit! It's the third Turbo homebrew game released so far and it's already a lot better than what we've gotten. Not just saying that because the first two games weren't all that great, but because I've spent an hour just playing the demo. Plus the hidden features make it even more fun! :D

Arkhan posted some pics of the sweet packaging here (http://www.pcenginefx.com/forums/index.php?topic=5945.msg126430#msg126430).

I don't understand what is so confusing about the site. I mean it pretty much spells everything out.

fixing signature now, it disappeared when the picture was renamed thus breaking the link

I can say first hand that this game is pretty awesome. Will work on a Turbografx -16 CD w/system 3.0 card or turbo duo as well, not just the PC Engine. I got a chance to play it last night and I have to say that it's pretty sweet if you are a Berzerk fan!!

Here's a video of an old beta version of Insanity - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsdZHI_cHJM . It has a famous 80's song rendered with the PCE'S PSG soundchip, can you guess which song it is? :D

I'm sure it's a good Berzerk port/remake, but couldn't you find help with the visuals? It looks like the screen is covered in dandruff.

Though I wasn't part of the production of this game, it looks way better in motion because of all the palette cycling going on in the tiles. I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks on a TV too.

Looks good on a TV to me. I mean - it's not Lords of Thunder, but it is what it is.

It's a start.

This may get the TG16 homebrew ball rolling.

Yeah this is only the beginning. For the past few years, there have been a TON of new homebrew projects being worked on for the Turbo by different developers and they're still active. Soon enough the tidal wave is gonna cave in.

looks a bit better then the earlier beta I saw, going to download and attempt to burn the demo this weekend when i have some free time.

The demo is cool, but nothing beats the real disc with the CD music. The CD music really sets the atmosphere.

The thing people have to remember about this game is that Berzerk NEVER had amazing graphics. And Arkhan was trying to replicate the feel of the classic as much as possible. So if it was all super turbo-fied it would just not feel the same. Similar to how Robotron is on the N64 for example.

As cool as the CD music is, I love the PSG more :D .

You should play the game :) The screenshots, in their tiny-resolution, hide the patternlines on the floor. Looks alot better on a tv, and better still once its in motion and the traces on the wall pulse. The floor pulsed at one point in time but it was far too obnoxious and distracting.

PS: Theres a secret graphical throwback in the game to show the leap in visuals over the original! ROFL
