After a few hours with the game I find it to be a straightforward, no-nonsense update of the classic.

It retains the play control and 2D aesthetic of the classic, the track edit modes are simple and intuitive (and unlike the original cartridge you can actually save your tracks now) and the online multiplayer is icing on the cake.

Glad to see Nintendo take such a dead-on approach to both updating a classic AND delivering a great WiiWare title.

This should be a $10 no-brainer for fans of the original.

i downloaded it but i need to install it still so hopefully by tomorrow ill be all over it

Played it for about 2 hours when I first downloaded it. Super fun game. A lot to unlock also. I like it because its a lot like the original just with better graphics. Plus for only 10 bucks you can't beat it.

I love this game! My only complaint is I wish the track editor had more options, but finally I can save my tracks!!! Thanks for the long overdue update.
