What is the highest capacity memory card that will work in a Dingoo? Is there a limit? What do you guys have in yours?

Doesn't answer your question, but it's worth posting:

Dr. Ashens' review of the Dingoo. It's amusing AND informative. :)
edit: skip the first 20 seconds. I have no idea what that's about.

The Dingoo actually looks like a pretty good handheld tbh.

I got my hands on one at NAVA and was a bit impressed....no emu seems to do SNES very well though. I didn't know you were on the Dingoo island, Chan, we'll have to get together soon.

SD slot supports up to 8GB SDHC
I hear that installing Dingoo Linux makes a world of difference in terms of allocating memory for the more memory intensive emulators like MAME and SNES.
There are a few step by step guides out there...

This guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTMKOm4BBvY&feature=related) is running a 16gb mini sd card with apparently no problems.

Ah. Well, I was just just going by the specs I found online ... which were system launch specs - they may have updated the system firmware since then allowing for larger cards, or Dingoo Linux may have made larger cards accessible.

They run about $70-$80 + shipping from overseas.
Deal Extreme has them in their pocket game section with free shipping, that's probably the best deal you'll find if you're comfortable waiting a few weeks to get it.

I don't have one yet, but reviews of the stock-standard onboard software say that lighter emulation like NES/Genesis is good but more intensive emulation like SNES/Neo Geo tend to run slower. (see link to Ashens' review.)
As stated above (see the links) some people have figured out how to replace the front-end of the system with Linux and claim that the changes that makes allow for emulation like SNES and MAME to be vastly improved.
KidIce ... are you running the standard OS or did you install Linux?

Since it supports SDHC, you should theoretically be able to use a 32GB card with it... except for the fact that no one makes 32GB miniSD yet. I imagine a 16GB card would be more than enough anyways.
If I hadn't already ordered a Pandora, I would have got one of these things by now. If I had known I'd be waiting so long for a Pandora, I might have gotten one of these just to kill the time...

Wasn't mine...a guy brought one to NAVA, a regular but I can't remember his name...OMF2097?...played some Plok which ran okay but the sound was bad.
