I picked this lot up off CraigsList yesterday for $200.00. Everthing was as advertised. The NeoGeo CD, 32x, and PS1 were the only systems boxed ...but everthing was in decent condition. Added pics of the major items, but also included was a Sega Saturn Action Replay Plus, Sega Saturn Memory Card Plus, Master System Control Stick, TG-16 Stick, a 3rd Neo Geo control pad, Sega Genesis Power Base Converter, 2 Sony PS1 memory cards, TG-16 games (Splatterhouse, Alien Crush, Legendary Axe, Y's Book I & II), World Heroes 2 Jet for the Neo Geo, and Angel Paradise Vol 1 import for Sega Saturn.

Great deal! Is the PDS in good shape/complete? Based on the sealed FFVII and 'exotic' systems, I'd guess it is.

Also - there's a finds thread for this stuff ;)

When the finds threads started up, it was generally agreed that if you had a really great find or story that it could merit its own thread. Varies from person to person, I guess, but this one seems nice enough in my book. I have a pretty low bar as long as the 'finder' is excited about it.

Well, that's good to see it was gotten by a digital press member. :) The guy said it was already sold and I was pissed.

That is a good guy to know, he is a big time collector and always has amazing deals when he needs cash. He also knows the guys at bookmans and has them hold all the good stuff him, kinda sucks cause doesnt give us a chance to find good deals sometimes.

Nice purchase though.

Wow, panzer dragoon saga alone is worth 200. You basically got everything else for FREE!

agreed. I find barely anything up here in MA. Last remotely "amazing" find was an assortment of 30 PS1 demo discs and games, a boxed Sega Genesis unit (no extras or cords) with controllers, and about 20 games for $2. Aside from that deal, i haven't gotten anything even reasonably mentionable.

There was that one day though where my family was vacationing and my mother's friend housesat with me. We went to like 20 yard sales in total and my luck only struck at one of them. a FREE Atari 5200 because I exlaimed how it was missing the power adaptor, and a $5 CIB TRS-80 Color Computer 2 64K Extended model.

Yeah, my two "notable" finds since i started collecting two winters ago, but they pall in comparison to this. Panzer Dragoon Saga, 2 FFVIIs, and some boxed systems? excellent find! (in my mind at least)

Trying to find something on Craiglist here, everyone is in tooth and nail for the top dollar they can get. You usually find a good deal or two, but they're usually out of the way >_> I really gotta get my license ._.

Guys Tucson is dry most of the time, this guy got really lucky. And there's lots of competition seeing as 3 people in this thread including me and the OP are from there.

That is stupidly good. While Seattle seems to get a lot of good deals (except during the holidays!), I've NEVER seen a Neo Geo for sale and only once seen a system to play TG CD games on (it was a Duo-R or RX) and that was overpriced. Nice find, especially considering your location and how "dry" it apparently usually is. :)

Ill confirm that as well, Yard Sales and Thrifty's are usually bunch of junk, Atari commons, sports titles and sega controllers. We have a decent shop that from time to time has ok items that you can trade just about anything (books, magazines, dvds, books on tape, even for video games) but they usually are on par with ebay prices, so yes very dry.

East coast can't be much worse than the midwest. The only decent thing I've really seen on the craigslist listings near me is a boxed 5200 for $40 and Neo Geo AES for the small price of $300. At least the shop I work at occasionally gets nice items in. We got a Coleco Adam in and I bought it for $30.

Very nice find though for a very cheap price!
