Don't know if this is old news but I was just at Sam's Club and saw that they had PS3 & 360 GHWT game + guitar bundles for $19.81. I also saw the Aerosmith bundles for $14.81 but that price might have been for PS2 only.

Anyway, if you're not completely burnt out on GH yet, this might be worth picking up.

The GH WT Guitar is by far my favorite plastic game guitar, huge strum bar with "clicky" action, star power button/bar right underneath it, skinny neck/ Guitar Hero style fret buttons for those who cramp up on Rock Band guitar fat/flat fret buttons - totally worth picking up at that price for the guitar alone!

I think I may go back and pick this up now after hearing that. Haven't played with the WT guitar yet but it sounds a lot better than the Les Paul. I just gotta decide which system to buy it for.

If I get the PS3 bundle, can I use the controller on my 360 (or vice versa)? I know there was some kind of cross-platform compatibility with the Les Pauls but I don't know anything about the newer guitars.

No. 360=360 and PS3=PS3 but you can use the guitars on most Rock Band and Guitar Hero games.

If you're interested in it for the Wii or PS3, it's 17.99 or 16.74 both with free shipping if over 24.99 at Amazon. The 360 version is 29.49. Standalone copy only though.

Hmm, I think I'll have to stop by Sam's on the way home from work tonight.

How do the WT guitars compare to the Les Pauls? I actually have grown to like the Les Pauls quite a bit...

Does this apply to PS2 bundles as well, or no?

I saw some PS2 bundles but I'm not sure about the price. Either $19.81 or $14.81. Don't quote me on that though.

The body is slightly bigger, the neck and fret buttons are generally the same (with the acception of the addition of the touch pad high-notes) the strum bar is MUCH longer (which is nice IMO) and there's a huge star power button right below it which is nice if you don't feel like tilting to release star power.

Like I said, it's by far my favorite plastic game guitar.

I just picked up the PS3 bundle yesterday (along with RB2 for $10) and yeah, this guitar is great. Love the bigger strum bar and the wider body. Buttons have a sturdier feel to them also.

I'm going to go back to Sam's on Monday and pick up the 360 bundle. :P
