Description: Our client is working on next-generation teleconferencing \ telepresence communications applications for their high-demand games console platform. As a network teleconferencing application, connectivity and video\voice transmission will be peer-to-peer, and we will support multi-party\multi-console conferencing.

Responsibilities will include:

* Hands-on games title testing
* Test automation development
* Test tool investigation and deployment
* Test server configuration, deployment, monitoring and maintenance


Experience:

* 3-4 years or greater SDET experience, test-specific and test-developer skillsets required
* Network testing and development experience
* Networking application development experience with winsock and other network programming tech for product or test applications
* Peer-to-peer application testing experience
* Network protocol testing experience
* Familiarity with various network technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SIP, RTP, and VoIP
* Game testing or development experience highly preferred


BONUS SKILLS

* Audio\video codec dev or test
* Distributed programming skills
* SQL administration and\or development skills
* Gaming interest or enthusiasm
* Passion for communication technology
* Interest in social networking

Sounds like it's for a console to me. A job directly with MS.

Actually I think they go back Phantom Entertainment now...if they're even around anymore. If I had to place a bet, I'd say it's MS and not Nintendo that's the mysterious party involved. ;)
