I picked up a copy of sonic the hedgehod 1 boxed at pawn shop but..
on the box and the game label is printed NOT FOR RESALE... and it's not a sticker, was not written on etc its on the label... was wondering if this is a prototype, a demo, or something else.. and if it has any value

No value. It's the pack in version that came with the Genesis. Dirt dirt common.

Yes, if you find a SNES game that has "not for resale" written on it, it is a bit more rare. These SNES games were used in Kiosks in wall marts and ect, but getting a sonic genny cart with "not for resale" written on it only means that it came with the pack in. Finding one of these is as common as Maxlords always being the first one to reply to a topic. 8-)

I have a "Not For Resale" NCAA Basketball for the SNES. Anyone want to wager a guess at what it's worth?

Thanks for the reply. I bought it for $0.99, just cause I thought it was cool, having never seen a SNES NFR. If you had said like $100, I could have parted with it, but for a few bucks I'll just hang on to it. After all, it's the only SNES sports game in my collection. LOL LOL
