How much would a Game Gear with Super Columns NIB be worth?

There's a local Craigslist ad with the Game Gear NIB, a Game Genie (looks like no books or box) and a loose Sonic 1 & 2 for $50 - I'm thinking of offering $40.

Game Gear's go for about $20-25 for the unit, Sonic 1 and 2 are very cheap games, and the Game Genie can be found cheaply as well.

$30-35 is probably what I'd offer for that lot. $50 is far too much. Especially if the caps aren't replaced.

This is for a sealed unit, not loose - how would I replace the capacitor caps in an unopened box? People GIVE me loose Game Gear units here since the can't sell them :)
