Hi all.

My name is Marijn and I am actually a nintendo collector. But recently I have found a sega game that is supposed to be really rare. The game is called Mallet Legend and it is complete in its original box and comes with a nine button pad. The game is mole whacking. I was told that it is a rare game but can't seem to find much information on it. Can someone tell me a little more about it. And can you guys give me an estimate as to what it is worth. Since I don't collect Sega at alle I am planning on selling it on again.

It also is know by the name of Whac-a-Critter...

I believe there was one showed up on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-MALLET-LEGEND-CONTROLLER-WITH-GAME-ULTRA-RARE_W0QQitemZ330374255042QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Vi ntage_Video_Games?hash=item4cebd711c2) recently..

It did, the person tried to pass it off as "new" and it went for 350$ with 6$ shipping.

It would be the only one I've ever seen for sale.

The Whac-A-Mole game itself isn't too hard to find, but the controller is.

Mallet Legend must be the name in another territory. I've never seen one like it myself.

A horrible-quality game developed by AV Artisan in Taiwan and published by Realtec, Mallet Legend is an unlicensed game for the Genesis whose special controller is quite hard to come across nowadays. Your full set there should fetch a decent price, if that's what you're looking for. Certainly, anything is better than actually playing the game. If I were you, I'd list it on eBay or a similar auction site, rather than trying to sell it here through the forums.

I have listed the ultra rare sega game on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3004...

BIN price might seem high but I have got the best offer option, since I could only find on sale in the past.

It would help if you actually posted a working link to your auction.

Since I'm so nice;

And this thread might as well be moved to the auction section now.
