Ummm... Harvest Moon and Azure Dreams both contain elements of dating.

Pretty much any BioWare game. Though, to be honest, very little of the romance in those games involve genuine "dating."

FFVII has a dating element but it's relatively minor.

I used to play those Japanese dating sims back in the day, they were similar to Sprung except they weren't as asinine (but the hentai stuff was definitely prevalent).

Seconding Harvest Moon. It wasn't really dating per se, but courting the ladies in town was a big element of the game, especially the SNES one. Can't speak for the myriad sequels for GBA, Gamecube, Wii and DS but I assume they have the same sort of elements :)

Thousand Arms for Playstation was certainly "flirty".

Ugh, I've never heard of Sprung before, and I kinda wish it stayed that way. So it's basically a Westernized take on the Japanese dating sim? Looks wretched.

So... uh, you want games with dating that aren't actually dating games? o_O Your options are going to be fairly limited, even more so if you stick to US releases. I wouldn't let Sprung turn you off to real dating sims as a whole, though, and the Japanese-developed ones aren't all hentai either. My favorite is Getter Love!! on N64, which has the usual talking, answering questions, and giving gifts, but the game is also half board game so it's competitive and can get very strategic. There are also some action-based mini-games to compete in. Great game, but obviously Japanese only. It's not impossible to play without knowing Japanese, though, as I did and even wrote a guide for it.

No words can describe the feeling once you actually start playing it. In one section of the game, you have to seduce a cow. Yes, an actual bovine cow.

Went looking for it on Google/Wikipedia. "Sprung: a game where everyone scores". Aw, for fuck's sake...:shameful:

That actually makes the game sound fun in a Rob Schneider movie sort of way.

the Sims games

Lots of PC Japanese bishōjo dating games like Do You Like Horny Bunnies? (http://www.amazon.com/Like-Horny-Bunnies-Bishoujo-Game/dp/B0026M4HJ0/ref=pd_sim_sw_6/180-8185290-4571200)

Sprung is surprisingly enjoyable, or at least it was when I was in love with my DS and there was nothing else to play at the time. Better than Urbz: Sims in the City anyway.

Sprung is one of the worst games I've ever played on the DS, I bought a copy for $2.99 and still felt ripped off.

The Monkey Island series has Guybrush and Elaine with their relationship.
