Is it possible to have all the Sonic Games 8 & 16 bit versions of the games
Master System
Sonic
Sonic 2
Sonic Chaos
Sonic Spinball
Sonic Blast
Genesis
Sonic (JP version)
Sonic 2
Sonic 3
Sonic & Knuckles
S&K with S2
S&K with S3
Sonic Spinball
Sonic 3D blast
So 13 in 1..How big can a Multi-Cart get??
Can it be done??

That depends. Would 64Mbit be enough for all of them?

The Master System part could be problematic, thought.

Sonic 3 and Sonic 3D Blast would take up most of an 64Mbit cartridge. I think you'd need 128Mbit.

What about Blue Sphere, Flicky, and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine? I'm not trying to turn this into a "Are those considered Sonic games?" thread, I'd just like to know whether those would fit in there too.

There have been oversize, non-standard multicarts before, and with the way the carts stick out of the Genesis there's no reason you couldn't make them as big as you wanted to, I reckon - except of course the price would get progressively higher.

There's also other Sega games which have Sonic as a prominent presence, like Art Alive and Wacky Worlds. And there's Sonic Eraser, too. Mean Bean Machine I think has a SMS version as well.
And I probably won't even get into the ROM hack-using potential, because that could make this cart grow so much bigger it'd be silly.

You can probably do this with bankswitching. One for MS games, a couple for the MD games.
