2nd generation snes console (mini snes) with the following games:
Earthbound
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy II
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
Super Metroid
Legend Of Zelda:Link To The Past
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario World
Super Mario All Stars
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario World 2:Yoshi's Island

All cart only for $150

I tried to get him to hold it till Sat. so I could kill two birds with one stone (they have a big flea market over there) but he's reply was first come first served so now I need to know is it worth going for the games alone?

I'd buy all of them for that price, but ultimately it would come down to wether or not I felt like doing the driving...

Are they all loose?

How many of these games do you have? Specifically, do you already have EB? The cart is an easy resell for half the lot price.

Me personally, I would make the trip. $150 is a great price for pretty much all the top choice titles on the SNES and a SNES system to boot.

Hmm, a lot of great games, with Final Fantasy Mystic Quest as a bonus. Why do I never see that around here? The price seems to be right, so whether it's worth it is all up to you.

Yea there all loose and the only games that I don't have are EB, FF 2, and Chrono Trigger so not to much in resell value.

I would drive 2 hours for that lot. Is it all in good condition?

If your schedule allows, it is worth it. 2 hrs round trip, or one way? There's no way I'd have time to during the week, but on a Saturday I'd be on it for sure.

I'd still do it. You probably could resell everything else (system included) as a lot for $100 at the least.

Essentially it'll be paying full price for CT and getting FF2 and EB for free.

It's about 1 1/2 hrs one way so 2~3 hrs round trip. Today is the last day of the work week for me so my schedule allows it but I wish he would have held it till Sat. then there would have been no problems.

I sent an email to the guy saying that I can meet him tonight so hopefully it works out.

Make sure to update if you get it.

I personally wouldn't but SNES games just aren't that big a deal to me. But hopefully Santa will be able to change my opinion of that this year :-D

So, $150 + gas. That's what, $200 tops?

oh well I got an email a little wile ago saying that someone got it this afternoon.

why cant some people hold shit till the end of the day at lest, I can understand not wanting to hold it till Sat. but the end of the same day! That's the second time that someone on craigslist was more like the first to my door, than the first to email me.

As a seller on these sites like CL and Kijiji, I can tell you from experience that people go out of their way to screw with you. I don't know how many people have begged and pleaded for me to hold something only to never hear from them again. I can understand the sellers perspective and I'm 100% first come first serve. If I sold those games and you're coming from 2 hours away my response is you better be breaking the law driving 50 miles over the speed limit and breaking every traffic law if you want this stuff because if someone shows up a minute before you its out the door.

Totally agree with this. I've had so many people back out of CL deals, I no longer use the site to sell. First come, first serve; money talks; etc etc

Also totally agree; I stopped using Craigslist to sell other stuff a loooooooong time ago because when people beg you to hold something, 9 times out of 10 they never get back to you and you then piss off every other person who was ready to buy because you told inevitably told them that it was being held but might be available. If it's not first come-first served, then the seller's nuts.

What are you so mad about ?. You hesitated at first and he already told you "first come, first served".

It was a good deal but nothing that you can't get on eBay or in this forum.

You obviously wanted the lot and it was a good deal. No real harm done but next time just go get it :)

yep anything on CL I pretty much decide if I can get it ASAP or not if I can't get it within the first couple of hours its gonna be gone especially for anything good.
