I know this is probably just simple impatience due to the excitement of being selected to the beta test, but has anyone recieved their packages for the beta test yet?

I'm just kinda drooling at the mouth for this, and got curious since several others here said they got selected... :-D

Are you in the PC or PS2 beta test? I'm expecting my PC beta kit in early July, based on the email I received.

PS2. The email says June, but since we're only halfway through the month, I think I'm just jumping the gun out of excitement LOL

I'm in the PS2 Beta as well, we'll have to hook up. AFAIK the kits are supposed to be here Monday or Tuesday.

They are on the way for the PS2 beta. I received mine on Friday, complete with the 40GB hard drive. They really did a nice job on this, as the game is sealed with retail strip on top, full production type process. It also has Tetra Master from FFIX included with it, too.

I haven't had the chance to hook it up yet and play it, but I think I'll be setting it up on Monday.

I should've signed up for the PS2 beta test instead. I'm gonna be all alone. :(

This is how I feel about all y'all that got in the beta.

just try to worm as much info to us lesser humans that you can make without breaking your NDAs. :-D

It has arrived!!!!!!!!!!! :o

I am setting up the HDD and game as we speak... there doesn't seem to be a NDA in here, so more updates may follow as soon as I finish this manual...

Well then mine should be waiting for me when I get home. I'll be on shortly after 6:00. Expect to see a Red Mage named Tivadar in the town of Bastok.

Let us know when the NDAs expire and whether you can tell us whether you like it or not.

I read an interview with Richard Garriott where he mentioned that game, said it did poorly in Japan, and offered his opinion that it wasn't really all that great.

Garriott = The Man. It's a shame what EA did to UO2 and Ultima IX. >:( >:( >:(
