View Full Version : Would this be a reasonable trade?

I was thinking about offering up a trade in the buy/sell forum and was wondering if it would be a fair trade. I have a copy of Radiant Silvergun that I don't play and would really rather have a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga. Do you think that one for the other straight up would be a good trade? Thanks. Of course, if anyone is interested in such an offer, please jump right in. :D

I think it's reasonable, I wish I had PDS because I've been looking for Radiant Silvergun for awhile now. =)

That sounds pretty fair. You're really ending up with the better deal since Radiant Silvergun isn't all that rare of a game compared to Panzer Dragoon Saga. It can be found for much cheaper in Japan supposedly.

PDS can be found for under 1000 yen ($10) in Japan. If the trade is for the US version of PDS, then sure, go for it, but you're ripping yourself off if you're trading for the JP version.

I'm sure if he was trading for the Japanese version he'd have said Azel Panzer Dragoon RPG. And at any rate, as you've pointed out, it wouldn't make sense to trade a $150+ game for a $10 game, so logic would dictate that he was talking about the US version.

I figured that was probably the case too, but just wanted to make sure! Would have hated to see someone trade RS straight up for a Japanese PDS.

Yeah, I was talking about the US version. I have a bunch of Japanese Saturn games, (as evidenced by my having RS), but for a non-shooter, non-fighter, I need the English. I was hoping that maybe someone would be interested in a trade like that. I figured that I might have to cough up something to go with it, but whatever it is, it would be less that having to buy a copy straight up.
