Friend's got one he may sell to me. I know these are hard to come by, but what are they worth?

don't you think thats a bit high? I sold mine for 70 to someone I knew. $100 is the MAX I could ever see getting for it.

Amongst friends or on forums you won't get $100 for it. On Ebay you'll probably get $100 if you're lucky, or maybe more. On Amazon you can get up to $150, maybe even more if you're lucky.

I'd say around $80 if it had the hookups and was in good shape.

Sure, he can set a BIN on amazon and bide his time, but is that what this forum is really all about? Besides, when someone asks in here about prices, the digitpress economy price is the first I go to.

If something sells abnormally well elsewhere, I note that (ps2 network adaptors), but normally I don't deal with the very top of the pyramid.

Also, someone just threw one up for $140 in the marketplace. It's out of the range I quoted by a fair amount, but why not give it a few days and see how it fares?
