I'm getting to the point where I want to get everything I have protected in terms of PPE bags, boxes and protectors. I'd like to find a reasonable source of these items. Any suggestions?

So far, the best box protectors I know of are sold by Atariage member justabum. He had box protectors designed for the 2600 box size designed and produced. The cost was about 75 cents apiece, which I figure is worthwhile. They fit most 2600, 5200, Colecovision, certain Intellivision and some old computer game (VIC, C64, 8-bit) boxes. I would be happy to find more sizes for the funny sized boxes like the Sega boxes, the 5200 controller holder boxes, and many larger boxes. I would imagine that somewhere they sell these outside of said user. I could probably make due with certain sizes that they must produce for toys and other collectibles. Here is the thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/user/19349-justabum/

This guy doesn't reply to PMs or postings on his thread, so unfortunately he's out of commission for the time being.

I would be excited to source some of those plastic protectors for the original Mattel Intellivision boxes.

Any suggestions for bags and other preservation supplies? I'd like some plastic bags for standard 2600 carts and for larger carts like Xonox or long carts like Commavid.

Does anyone know the sizes needed for different carts? This post isn't simply for me, but I figured it would be useful for future reference.

For Playaround and Mystique 2600 games that are boxed, my suggested bag size is 7.5" wide x 10" for a snug fit. 8" wide if you want it looser.

I'll post my discoveries over time for reference.

I'd be pretty interested in knowing which bags would be appropriate for 3DO longbox titles. Any luck with those yet, Ianoid?
