Recently a Ebay auction was listed for a Honeybee Famicom converter with SMB3 Japan, And another game he isn't sure works. I was wondering if it was worth $50 in the opinion of others? It doesn't have the rope to pull it out of the console on it either.

I think you should buy a Gyromite cartridge and use the converter in it, and make your own rope to pull it out.

And please don't use such vague subject lines in the future, okay?
(Edit- Originally the subject line was "Is this worth it?")

Was that last part even necessary? It isn't vague when you put the mouse over the subject it previews what the post is even about. Thanks!

Was that first part necessary? it was kinda vague, i think its also the wrong forum.

and what is this "rope to pull it out?" is that needed just for the toaster style of NES?

Yes. The first part was necessary. I asked if it was worth $50.

Well Famicom converters have a rope or ribbon thats attached to pull it out of the NES.

I got mine for $20 with a 42 in one multigame(that they wouldn't break apart from the convertor.. wtf?) and i thought that was steep, so no.. $50? screw that.

I also found mine in the wild.

also how else would you pull it out? it would be like a broken game genie(had a nes with a snapped game genie stuck in it before)

I bought mine in the wild, too, along with a pirate multicart attached. Only paid $4 for it altogether.

I think it would be easier to buy a cheap Famiclone rather than buying a Honeybee converter. I find Famiclones in thrift stores all the time for under five bucks. Far easier than dealing with a converter.

Alright, I found another Converter from a member here.
Thanks for the suggestions.
