My question, is which would be easier to do? Get an AV mod on an TG16 or find a TurboBooster?

the last time i looked turbo boosters were going for a good chunk of change.
a broken cd player works good too. I got lucky and got a Turbo 16 CD attachment for $20 but the cd player just spins but it made for a cheap turbo booster plus with saves too
