Hey guys,

I got these a long time ago bundled with a Sega Saturn system of all things and I'm finally digging them out to clear out some room.

Games:

-Popful Mail (US)
-The Space Adventure (US)

I know Popful Mail fetches a pretty good price once and a while. Space Adventure I haven't really heard of, but that has a Scarcity level of 6 on the online guide here when Popful Mail only reaches a 4. I know that's no the only thing to go by, but just thought I'd mention it.

Either way I was wondering what these may be worth. The discs are used, and they have some light scratches, but they should play fine and of course I can test them. They do not come with the manuals, but the do come with the original thick Sega CD case and the back insert in the case.

Any thoughts would be great, thanks! :)

Thanks,
-Steven

If ebay is to be trusted, the space adventure cobra is $100-150. That's an educated guess since there's only one copy on ebay to price compare and it's a complete copy.

If you're patient you can watch this auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/The-Space-Adventure-Sega-CD-Complete-In-Case_W0QQitemZ270488679846QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Vi ntage_Video_Games?hash=item3efa61b5a6) and see where it goes.

Hate to break it to you, but eBay completed auctions get to be as pretty accurate as far as pricing goes on this stuff.

BINs on the other hand are mostly nonsense and shouldn't be trusted.

Hey everyone, thanks for all of your responses! I can see how my games may loose a little value since they don't have their manuals. But then again I wasn't planning on getting $100 for one of these games anyway. I'll watch some of the auctions and see what it goes up to.

I'm in no rush to sell these games, but I am open to trades and offers. :) Thanks!

To be fair there are NO completed listings for that game on ebay so you could basically set your own price. I doubt anyone would pay $100.00 though, it's just the most educated guess i could make on a complete copy.

In the past its always been 55-80$, 100$ or more is really pushing it.

i had both games at one point. the space adventure I sold for $60 about 2 years ago, and popful mail i have had 2 or 3 times and got around $50-$60 each time

You probably won't get more than $40 for Popful Mail due to incompleteness. I've seen CIB going for as much as $80, but the price was a bit down last time I checked.
