Not sure what kind of games you're into, but a lot of shooters can be found on shmupsforum (http://shmups.system11.org/viewforum.php?f=4)

The only problem is that they're worth their weight in gold to these guys...but sometimes you can get a good deal. It's not like the entire economy is inflated, it's just that a lot of people are attached to their games and so inflate their prices accordingly.
