Yeah. I've tested it and it works but it seems to crash at random points. I've never been able to get to actual gameplay. So it's probably an early version (or it just hates my Genesis 1.)
How much would this be worth?

Genesis protos are not worth much. Genesis sports game protos are worth less. No more than $50.

Not much at all. I traded my cart only earthbound and $15 dollars for 2 genesis sports protos, and a beta of dino crisis for dreamcast

That pretty much sums it up.
I will say that you have two things going for you though:
- It appears to be an early build by what you're saying
- It comes complete in a prototype case.
I would guess it would be worth between $25-$60.

Right around $40-$50. Someone on here had a REALLY nice genny proto with a giant eprom board of a sports game that sat at $55 shipped for a week or 2.

Like others have already said, Genny sports protos don't sell for much at all usually, but having an abnormal board and case make this more desirable than your run of the mill Genny proto.
If I were still collecting Genesis protos, I'd pick it up for $50.
