$5-$10. Someone else on another forum I'm on tried to sell a loose one but got no interest when priced any higher. The NES version is worth way more than the Genesis version.

Now, is that due to a scarcity issue, or just because NES collectors are much more willing to pay for something like this?

I think it's the second.

Second reason, the rarity is about the same. In the wild I've actually come across more copies of the NES version than the Genesis version, it must be more common near where I am. The NES version is worth at least $40, though it tends to sell for more sometimes. Both games are really terrible though.

I think Action 52 is more common in Canada for some reason, I've found a number of them as well. There are at least three variants of the NES version, clear label/black board, clear label, and purple label. Some of them have sold for $75-100 in the past.

The Genesis version is worth about $10 IMO, it's not as sought after as the NES version. I used to have this one when I was a kid, it plays better than the NES one but it's still a terrible game for the time.

I just watched a youtube video of this thing. It is the spawn of satan. couldn't sit through all the games the guy was showing from it. I got to the abysmal afterburner knockoff and stopped watching.

I think I paid $20 shipped for my sealed Genesis Action 52. If Genesis picks up, if ever, it'll reach NES levels, and that's a really big if.

Genesis will not reach Nes levels, but I feel that the Geneiss is just now starting to pick up some steam collecting.

Is the military strategy game even playable? I remember trying to play it with a friend, and we couldn't figure out to make the game actually, you know, play.

Also, CHEETAH MEN!

Yes, once you set it up you can actually end the game within about one minute. It's just that it takes about 15-20 minutes to set up your forces.

The sad thing is, an electronic junk store I used to go to in the early '90s had buttloads of Action 52s, boxed. And I never picked any up. I just couldn't muster any interest in getting one or two, since the games looked so sucky. They used to have all sorts of oddball things there that I wished I had picked up. Sigh.
