I just got some new Famicom Disk System disks today so I figured I would try and get my Sharp Twin Famicom working. I had three disks before and I bought a new belt from mrhaboobi (hope I spelled that right) but I wasn't able to get it working before. Today I got it working with my new disks woohoo. It works perfectly with some disks and some others don't work but I think it is a problem with the disks. I have one question though. Several of the disks I have play different games than what is pictured on the label. Have these been copied over? One example is a Nintendo Volleyball/Wrestling disk. It plays Volleyball fine but the B side plays Hockey instead of Wrestling. I also have a few others that play the wrong game. Anyway I'm just happy to get it working. I have a regular Famicom Disk System but I'm not as worried about getting it working because it won't play properly on my TV anyway. The Twin Famicom has A/V.
Thanks, Y-bot

The charm of the disks wasn't just that they were cheap...if you were bored with X game you could take it to a store, have an employee put it in a Disk Writer kiosk system and write it over with something else.

Kids are stupid.

Anyways, I hope the changed games are better than what's on the label? Yuck.

Hey Man,

Glad you got it working finally :) Those disks can be a pain, i know i had a nice mint zelda but the disk was dead! .. and yeah people tended to overwrite their games using the disk writing systems in japan.. you be lucky and actually have some good games on crapy disks :)
