I am cheap but I would guess $120-$150.

Think I'd be best selling off the rarer games individually and bundling the rest?

Maybe $200-$300 if you're lucky and find someone local who's looking for it, if you're selling it on the forums probably less because shipping would be expensive for all that. I recently sold off my personal Game Gear collection a few weeks ago on Kijiji and I'm very happy I did. I wouldn't split it up unless you could get more than $5 for a single game(I sold Shining Force for $10 by itself, that was it). If you sell off the more desirable games, you'll be stuck with the rest for sure. There's not too much demand for Game Gear unless there's rare stuff or if it's dirt cheap. How much did your collection cost you to get?

My collection was 5 systems with 42 games for $150, I priced it so I'd break even. There was one sealed game, and most systems had carrying cases with accessories(including one power adapter). One of the Game Gear systems was the blue sports model. It took me about 2 months to sell it for my asking price, I had several people try to get it all for $100. I can post the specific list of what was included if needed, there really weren't any valuable games with the lot but there was a single R5.

See, I have double that amount of games and many rare ones in there too.

It's cost me much more than I'll ever get for it I'm sure.

I'd do $200 shipped on it all. See if I get any bites.

Yeah that's the question I had: what are the expensive titles for the Game Gear. I know Mega Man and a few imports, but otherwise aren't most of the rare/desirable games $10 or less, like Shining Force, Crystal Warriors, and samurai Shodown?

Most games are next to worthless. I didn't aim to sell it to a collector, I aimed more for a parent that would want it all for their kids as it's cheaper than getting a DS Lite with a bunch of games. I actually had this Game Gear stuff for a couple of years before I got around to taking pictures of it all, I didn't think anyone would be interested so I didn't bother.

It ended up being a teenager that bought it all(maybe 18-20 years old if I had to guess), and he was curious as to why I had 5 systems. I told him I bought small lots just to get the games I wanted, and they usually came with systems too. I have no idea if he planned to part them out, he did want to test the systems first to make sure they were all working(which they were, same with the games). As I said, I was happy it all sold.

aaron, the Mrs is the Game Gear person. I'm a lazy bitch so I haven't told her about this thread yet. She'll look at it tonight. I think she will be interested now that everything is listed out.

I'd do $150 on it all.

Who do I PM to punt this over to Buying/Selling?

Decent games in the lot. I think you'll have no problem getting $150, considering.
