I just picked one of these carrying cases up at Goodwill (with system & 2 controllers inside) for $20. Basically just a black hardshell carrying case with the N64 logo on the outside. I've got a Blockbuster Virtual Boy rental case but I've never seen a N64 one before. Any idea what they're worth? I've checked Ebay but couldn't find any in the completed listings.

Sounds like the PS1 case that I have. I picked it up for $8 plus shipping a couple months ago. Saw one for another system, for some reason I am thinking Dreamcast or Saturn on the ShopGoodwill auction site a while back.

I also have the virtual boy one but I would love a case for my Saturn. I hope someone has your answer because I'm also interested.

I've seen most of those rental cases for around $10 or so, not counting the Virtual Boy which I'd guess is a bit more expensive. I've passed on one for the Saturn a few years ago, it had the system inside but it was missing some hookups so I left it.

I've seen people selling N64 rental cases anywhere between $20 and $50 over the years both online and at swaps, etc. The cases priced at $20-$25 sold easily, the $50 ones stayed with their owners. I just obtained a Genesis 2/CD rental case earlier tonight for $10 that I'm fairly pleased about. It will look nice next to my NES rental case and my Atari 2600 carrying case.

Thanks. So I basically paid what is was worth and got a free system and controllers out of it. I can live with that.

Anyone know what the Saturn ones are worth? I'm not really a N64 fan so I'd like to swap it for a Saturn case if I can find someone willing to trade. Or should I expect give up more for one?

Yeah, I lucked out on my Virtual Boy Hard case as I got it when I bought my Virtual Boy, so I ended up getting a Virtual Boy and the hard case for $30. That was a very long time ago though

I got a NES complete with rental case a year or so ago off of CL for $10. I was sitting in a bar checking CL on my phone when it popped up. I showed up to that poor lady's house half in the bag, I bet she never made the mistake of selling on CL again :)
