Super Hang-On is #1 in my heart and probably always will be, but Enduro Racer, Stadium Cross, and Suzuka 8 Hours are always in my win column as far as bike games go.

Manx TT on the Arcade and Saturn, there isn't a lot there, with like 2 tracks and a couple of Bikes, but what's there is really good.

Sorry kids. The answer was ExciteBike.

EDIT: Moto X Mayhem for the iPhone is awesome. It's like an updated version of Kickstart.

Does STUN runner count?

If you're talking about the arcade version, then yes it should (that was going to be my answer anyway).

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Zippy Race AKA Traverse USA.

Taito's WGP and Sega's Racing Hero are pretty good.

You can pretty much end the topic right there.

I liked the Hang On and Road Rash titles, but it's hard to top the outright fun that was Excitebike.

It's not an arcade game, but MotoGP '06 for the 360 is the best motorcycle racing sim out there.

Trials HD for XLA is pretty sweet as are some of the titles mentioned above. Strictly arcade titles, how about Fonz?

Excitebike doesn't seem very exciting.

Toaplan's Rally Bike / Dash Yarou is a great game though. It's very hard, but once you get the hang of it pretty rewarding. Nothing like landing in a truck full of pigs and running over all your opponents. I've only managed to beat the first stage so far, though.

That game was amazing. I had it for C64.

Darn... You beat me to it.

Manx TT is great and then there was also some Sega Model 2 game that was like a futuristic Road Rash. I can't remember what it was called but it was a lot of fun. My local theater used to have the full cab with twin motorcycles and the whole setup. I would always spend a few buck on it until they replaced it with something else.

Motor Raid? This showed up in a Model 2 emulator some time back.

Seconded. Wish I had me one of those machines.

YES!!! That was it!!! I just looked up some Youtube videos of it.

God, I miss that game so much. It's unfortunate that it never got ported to the Saturn or DC. Hmmmm... maybe i'll have to hunt down the single bike setup of this. I'm sure it would be a bitch to maintain, but it would look so bad ass in my livingroom! :)

I like Harley Davidson : L.A. Riders. The scene where you drive underneath an airplane's wing was great fun. SEGA recently did an update called King of the Road.

Enduro Racer has always been one of my favourites. I remember playing it in the arcade when I was about 6 years old, pulling back on the handlebars with all my might (and weight. Sometimes I hang to lift my feet off the floor because the cabinet's handlebars were a little too....stiff) to go over the jumps. Awesome feeling.

Okay, my choice is purely out of nostalgia, as Enduro Racer hasn't aged as well as games like Outrun did, but I still love the shit out of that game....

....as long as you never ever mention the Horrific Sega Master System "Conversion".

Maxx TT and Super Hang On would be high on my list. Never played Excite Bike in the arcade, but the NES version is obviously wonderul.

....as long as you never ever mention the Horrific Sega Master System "Conversion". Huh? I loved Enduro Racer on the SMS back in the day. Haven't played it in years, though, maybe I should fire it up again... or maybe some things are best left as memories...

Yeah, Motor Raid is amazing. I don't even really like Manx TT too much and never have, but Motor Raid is awesome stuff... it's really too bad it had no home ports, that's for sure. Be happy for the Nebula Model 2 emulator! It's the only way most people will ever play it...

As for other games, I'm not sure. Hang-On obviously. STUN Runner's pretty good, if it counts. On computers and consoles there are more though, such as the first two Moto Racer games (both are spectacular on the PC!), or the awesome Excitebike 64 to name some of my favorites, but the thread title does say 'arcade'...
