Hi guys I have heard people say that the retro duo works with game genie and people say that it doesn't. Does anyone know if it does or not? Thanks.

Snes, not worried about nes.
Mine works with no problems.

Most reports say yes.
Though there are confirmed variations of the system hardware, whether or not that would affect a Game Genie from working is anybody's guess.
