Hey guys, I haven't been around here in forever as I've been consumed with career goals and such. However, I'm thinking of buying this as a Xmas present to myself.

This guy claims to have 3 NEW Nintendo Neon Repair Signs.

What are the chances that they are really new? What are the chances that they are genuine and not a knock off?

I just haven't followed this stuff enough to know whether these things have been knocked off by someone.

What would you expect to reasonably pay for one?

TIA,

Dave

I can't tell you if it is real or new, but it looks identical to the (broken) one I have. It is a cool sign!

My biggest reservation is this bit: "item require 3-4 weeks shipping time because they have to be acquired first". What's up with that? Price seems high, too, but if you are treating yourself, that may be okay. Seems like I've seen fully working ones (not new) go for more like 200. I paid 50 for mine locally, and with broken neon.

That seller seems to be making and selling custom neon signs, so I would assume it's a reproduction of sorts.

That's what I think too. It says he makes custom neon signs at the bottom of the listing.
