Penguin Famiclone

I went to the Waco Flea market today to meet with a DP member and just check out the crap at the Flea here. Can't say I found much but I did see this Penguin Famiclone.

Didn't even ask the price. I've got enough Famiclones in my collection and I really don't care for any of them when used as actual consoles. Plus, he was selling several Super Power Wonder Joys next to it for $20 and that is $19 more then I'd pay.

These are incredibly common where I live.

I'd buy one if it wasn't for the wireless-only pads.

I've been out of the loop sense mid-2007 but I saw so many N64 controller Power Joy Famiclones out there it felt just like 2004 again. Can't say I'm missing to much if penguin famiclones with crappy wireless controllers are the most common 'classic' system for sale.

Who was that? The only DP member I know of in Waco (other than you) is Ryaan1234. He's the one who gave me tips on good thrift stores on the occasions I've gone through town.

Yea, it was Ryaan-whats-his-nuts. He apparently has a stall at the Flea. We actually missed each other by 10 minutes and didn't actually meet but whatever. It was a nice day out for once.
