SNES Retroport Controller on the Gamecube

I'm thinking of buying one after Xmas..

Does it work with Gamecube Games & the Game Boy Player??

I don't see any Vids on youtube about it..only playing SNES game on the Wii VC

I've played stuff on the Game Boy Player with the SNES retroports. I actually prefer them to the GC controller (it makes my hands hurt after a while) and because I play a lot of GBA games that were SNES ports. I haven't tried playing actual GC games with the retroports, though.

What about the Hori control pad?

Probably better-made and less likely to fall to pieces than an original SNES controller (I always had trouble with the shoulders).
