iPhone "Driver" - Holy crap!!

Is anyone playing the iPhone version of Driver?

I cannot believe how much better this version is over the PS1 game! The controls are surprisingly good, and the GFX are BETTER than the PS1 version! And they didn't skimp out on this game to port it to a mobile device - all the original modes from the PS1 and PC versions, are in this version. Infact, they've added features to this version, such as in-game "GPS maps". and car radio music.

If you have an iPhone or a Touch, and were a fan of the PS1 game, buy this now!

I really enjoyed Driver back in the day. Must have gotten it when I was 9 or 10. Pre-GTA, it was a crazy big game and really, really different.

I remember it being hard as hell though. Never beat it.

Driver came out after GTA.

Anyways, I don't own an iphone, but to this day the original Driver is still a great game. The first mission is one of the hardest but after you get past that it's an awesome game. The first mission also isn't that difficult as it's nothing more than memorizing a short list of things to do, a few of which you can do right at the start.

The game has aged much better than the first two full 3d GTA titles, GTA3 and Vice City. Driver 2 however sucks, terrible game, I'd say worse than Driver 3 which also isn't that good. Driver Parallel Lines is the best in the series. Buy it for the PS2 or Wii.
