I cant seem to understand, i have been waiting forever for this game to crash and end up at a bargain price. However, it still runs about $25. Much newer games than this one have dropped a lot lower in price much faster. This puzzles me because the game does not have that great of reviews and does not seem to overly popular or anything? Any ideas?

When Midway closed down, the pool of retailer credit money for unsold inventory that usually is required by distributors basically disappeared. As such, when price cuts on the game happen, they are borne entirely by the retailer and/or distributor. So, it's just one of those titles which is going to take a lot longer to fall in price. Having said that, I believe Target clearanced it months ago, so it might be possible to find cheaper copies on Ebay or various trade sites.

compared to 60, 25 isnt a bad price. are you waiting for 20? 15? youre starting to venture into squeezing blood from a turnip territory. if you want the game pick up a copy

Going down to $25 isn't exactly "holding its value" considering it started out at $60.00. And I've seen it going for $20 at places like Wal-Mart.

I want two versions of the game: UK/PAL version and the US Collector's Edition.
No luck finding any of two. :(

I wait until games come down below $10. That's only a problem if the game is any good (like some of the ones I picked up long ago, like Code Veronica for GameCube - worth more than I paid at clearance) and you miss the clearance window.
The OP could be more patient (the game's only been out a year and a month) but I commend him for spending wisely.

I was at one time time interested in buying the game, i dont even think i want it anymore. So you can all back off and not give me the games are $60 new bullshit, I simply am just wondering why other games dropped much quicker in price. I understand that $25 is not that bad of a price for a 1 year old game.

PS3 or 360?
If it's for PS3, do you still have the item stock number? It's on the receipt. Something like "58 xxxxx", where X indicate the stock numbers. :)

360 all the way;) But if I find anymore for either system I'm going to snatch them up because it looks like I can make alittle money off of them.

My local BB had randomly got 2 of the LE's and they also had at least 1 regular edition left. All were being sold at 29. The LE's came home yesterday.
