I never knew a game was made about the Spielberg movie A.I., let alone three of them. Doesn't surprise me that they were given the axe after the movie's poor reception. But still, a fighting game based on A.I.? Who really thought that was a good idea? And after the movie tanked, why didn't they just retitle it with a generic name, drop what few A.I. references there were, and put it out on its own?

Thats what the story is, obviously that fails to happen at times :P

Considering the game wasnt announced (and thanks to theRedEye, only mentioned once that I can find, and never by name), it wasnt really that far in development so it must have been deemed not worthwhile really.

Edit UPDATE:
Some incomplete stages can be loaded! http://superiorversion.com/?p=414

That statue reminds me of a certain animated viewscreen image in Duke Nukem 3D...^^;

That's an interesting find, thanks for sharing! Game looks rubbish, but this particular style of "gritty" (heheh) game art is always interesting to see (my N64 nostalgia is playing into that, of course), and it's always interesting to see what's going on with development systems. I always wanted an Alpha, myself (even though they'd be virtually useless - then again, maybe not if things like this can be found).
