Post pics if you can, but, please describe, in detail please, your gaming setup.

Mine consists, of me sittting in my semi comfortable chair, next to my computer (to intercept all incoming chat messages), usually a coke and some sort of snack on desk, feet propped up on my TV stand, a small stack of games next to TV, ( i separate my games I am playing now from the rest so i dont have to go to closet to get what i wanna play).

I've been meaning to get some pics up, now I guess I have a reason. It's 2am and I have to be up at 5, so I guess I'll do it tomorrow once I get back from Cedar Point.

These are copy and paste links (damned Geocities)....

The controllers always go away when finished with.

And all my games are within wasy reach, and the Sega Mega CD sits atop the shelf on the right. The boxes have mainly accessories, or consoles that I have no room to setup permanently (NTSC N64, GameCube). Small collection huh?

I've also been meaning to get pics uploaded of my gaming setup, but mine's really nothing to write home about.
1. Turn on 'tube
2. Spin little dial to 1, 2 or 3 to choose system
3. Turn to channel 91
4. Enjoy!

That's how it usually goes.

I've got two setups right now. The Rec room has my PS2, DC, NGC, and D. cable on one switch box, Xbox, VCR and spare (for stored machines) on the other switch box, and LaserActive on the third spot on my receiver. The analog has a coax-RCA adapter on it for older games. The other setup is in my room, and has my emu/media PC and Xbox hooked up to it.

Rec Room = couch
Bed Room = bed

I like eating sandwiches while playing games because they tend to be less messy and less likely to get grease all over the controller. either that or Macaroni and cheese (because I'm poor)

I got it all set up in my room.

I sit on this couch, or lie on the bed next to it:

I play one of these games:

On the setup in this cabinet:

Which, when opened looks like this:
http://members1.chello.nl/~t.hartholt/DSCF0091.JPG

A closer look.
On the upper left is my age old cd player, on the right my semi-age old amplifier. Below that, from left to right are my playstation 2, saturn and dreamcast. Behind it is my playstation.

A closer look at the bottom.
Next to the tv is my scart box. In the upper left part is my xbox with behind it a sega master system. Below is my supergun with, at the moment, soul edge. On the right is a sega megadrive with a 32X.

And if I don't feel like playing on a console, I can always use this:

Most pictures don't really flatter my setup (meaning: the lighting is so horrible, it looks terrrible), but I'm pretty happy with the way the setup is now. I used to have the tv on a smaller cabinet, with all systems on shelves next to it, but since I got this cabinet last week, all my systems got their own dust and sunshine free spot. That's good.

I step into the Escape Pod (http://www.thelogbook.com/phosphor/about/room/) and blast off.

Y'know, the more I look at that, the more it looks like some hackneyed 60s drug metaphor.

My gaming set up is mostly in my room, split up into two groups.

Group one is if I want to play N64, saturn, psx, neo geo, gamecube, dreamcast, or for some unholy reason, the vis. This entails me choosing a game, popping it in, turning on the VCR that most of those are hooked through, flipping the proper switch on my selector, and turning the tv to channel 3. When I'm done, controller goes back, game usually follows.

Group 2 is the "rotating" shelf, that has permanent members atari 7800 and NES, as well as Intellivision, Odyssey 2, CDX, colecovision, and SMS (at this current time). Basically to play on that I have to make sure the proper system is plugged in (limited power strip space), go around to the back of the little tv, fiddle around with my bizarre homemade A/B splitter thing until the proper system is set, and then turn on the tv, pop in the game, and go.
