Man, I've been trying to nab an Atari Jaguar off Ebay, but boy the prices just keep getting higher and higher.
It really is getting to the point of ridiculousness.
I'm seeing Jaguars with hardly any games or accessories going for freaking 70 and 80 bucks a pop!
This one guy had a Jag with AVP and Iron Soldier and one controller, and that's about it and it went for 75 bucks or so before shipping!
Some Jag's with no games at all, and missing controllers or AC Adapters or whatever, are still fetching 45 bucks before shipping!
What is going on here?
I really do want to snag a Jag, but dang, come on.
There really was only a small number of games with any real redeeming qualities, but for whatever reason these systems are fetching some serious bids.

I got mine a year ago off ebay, i took a stab in the dark on a low bid, no picture, low feedback, good description. I think I payed 35 for it in the box no games. I still want the CD add on, but that alone gets 75 for it. /cry.

Heres one with 11 games at $64 with a day and some to go. I dont know what to tell you. Ebay is freaky like that sometimes. One month everything will be high in price, while another you'll get a system and a ton of games for cheap. Just hold out for that good deal. Search for Jaguars w/games in the BIN column only every now and then. You're bound to find someone asking for less.

Yeah, I saw the one that you linked to. It's not a bad deal, but with 24 hours to go, that price will definitely climb.
There are some super deals on Jag systems, but they still have 5 and 6 days left.
The problem, is in the last several hours of the auction.
I have been the leading bidder on a ton of these auctions with like 5 or 6 hours left, and then I get blown away coming down the stretch.
I'm trying not to spend a fortune on this one single system.
There really is only 4 games for it, that I really want.
1. Doom
2. Aliens vs. Predator
3. Cybermorph
4. Trevor McFur in Crescent Galaxy
Those are the 4 games that I really want, so unless I could get all 4 of these, with a good audio video cable (S-Video would be sweet!), then I don't want to throw big dollars at it.
So I've been trying to just get console, even an as is one that doesn't have any hook ups or controllers, on the cheap. But even this has been difficult.
Plus on alot of these Jag auctions, the seller is hiking up the shipping more than your average console auction.

like a year ago some guy wholesaled them off at 50 bucks a piece, with free shipping and one game and all the hookups. I guess he ran out or stopped.

In the UK, EB were selling these off by the crateful at $15 a go, brand new boxed Jags. I bought up about 4 and sold the spares off at $40 each on Yahoo auctions.. as far as I remember, the Jags are region free, so if any of you are ever over in the UK you could probably pick one up fairly cheap here.
look at this, foir example~:

Video Game Liquidators are usually pricy when it comes to shipping. At least with their Ebay auctions. If anything e-mail them instead of going through auctions. They (within the last few months) are under new ownership and they were going through and cleaning up old auctions and such that were "wrong" (like no stock for example).

That can be said about the Vectrex as well and look at the prices they go for. AvP is a very in demand cart that alone can easily fetch $35-$45. If you're bidding on a Jag with AvP it's going to be more $ than a Jag with Cybermorph or Dino Dudes.
