PS3 Button Remapping Question

I been playing the COD games for a while now and got used to the button layout. today i bought Killzone 2 and having a problem with the controls in the game since im so used to the layout in COD. The options dont have a option to customize your our button layout.

So im asking is there away to do my own customize button mapping?

It really depends on the game. If the game doesn't allow it then unfortunately no.

Armored Core for Answer allows for full button mapping, but unfortunately you can't map it to the AC controls used since the beginning of the series due to the inability to map away from the right stick for aiming. So I had to work around it and deal with it.

every game should have the remap option. it makes going from one game like COD to Killzone 2 extremely hard to do.

Aren't there some extra special third party controllers that allow custom mapping to the controller itself? So that square equals circle, or whatever.
