Saw this at Goodwill tonight and was wondering if anyone has ever seen these before.

Never seen them. I imagine if they were officially licensed by Nintendo and/or had the N64 branding on the speakers themselves, they'd be more collectible. As-is, I can't imagine them going for much more than any other pair of speakers would, except to a hardcore N64 collector.

I think you should pick them up. Who knows? It may be real rare or something. So if you can get them cheap, I say buy it. If not just for collecting.

Because you could use the money for something better? Seriously. As money's become tighter I'm becoming a lot pickier in what I spend it on. For example, three bucks might not seem like a lot, but the next time you go somewhere you may find a complete copy of Gunstar Heroes or whatever that you could have spent it on.

Looks like some crappy speakers that have the name of a then-popular game system on them in order to promote sales. Something tells me they work on more than just N64.
I'd pass on them, personally.

What Oobgarm said. That, and Jensen SUCKS. I used to sell car audio and we got back more Jensen speakers and radios than any other brand. I vote for passing on them too...

I would have picked them up if they were $5 but they wanted $25...now you can see why I left them behind. Even the room the box would take up might not even be worth it.
And yes I'm pretty sure you can use it with other electronics besides the N64. It has standard phono jacks.

Oh? It was 25 bucks? Well then i'm with the others. I wouldn't pay that much for them, but if you could get them real cheap, you could say: "I own N64-speakers you know?". That's alone worth like 5 or 10 bucks... :D

I own a N64 branded camera, don't think it works. there is also a pc gamepad branded with the n64 logo.

Same with me, I pass on a ton of stuff now because I don't need it and it's not worth the trouble to make a couple of bucks per item. I recently passed on a Q*bert board game because it was missing the game specific dice, it was useless without them. I also pass on most strategy guides because most are undesirable.

I found an N64 branded alarm clock/radio and barely got $5 for it, the guy who bought it from me sold it on ebay for around $10. If I came across some Sega/Genesis branded speakers that were cheap I'd be interested, but not anything for the N64.

I owned these and used them for my PC speakers for a few years. They're junk, but were slightly better than your average pair of $30 computer speakers (circa 1998). Back when I worked at Toys R Us, they kept getting clearanced lower and lower; starting at $99 and bottoming out at $9.98, which is what I paid for them.
There was also an identical pair that were a different color -- grey, I think -- that were for the Playstation.
In any event, if you want a cheap pair of speakers, they'll do, but certainly don't bother picking them up to collect.
