Which Saturn Stuff would you buy?

Mega Man X4 and Action Replay 5 in 1 (Mega Man X4 or Street Fighter Collection)
Guardian Heroes

My first purchase for Saturn was Virtua Fighter 2. The second was Guardian Heroes. That's all.

I don't know why this even matters; to poll others to make a decision. The information on all three of these games is out there, you just need to look (youtube or otherwise) and find out for yourself.

I looked up like everything about the games, I narrowed it down to those three choices I literally cant decide between the three choices. I wouldnt have asked if i could make the decision based on the information that I know.

Speaking for myself, I've asked a friend/another person to suggest what game I should get between a couple different titles only once. You know what happened? Nothing, I did not get either game and I think that says it all.

If you cannot decide which to get between these three for yourself, you probably don't want any of them enough or do not have good justification towards one over the other. I also seriously doubt you've done considerable digging. I suspect you thought up about buying these games within the past week or so and otherwise had no preference one way or the other beforehand. As such, with time you can discover a lot on your own. That's my opinion.

Personally, I'd rather find out for myself what I like than be spoon-fed everything by some poll.

I don't hate giant sprites only disproportioned cartoony characters, but even then the hate isnt enough to stop me from enjoying a game unless the gameplay is anything like rushing through a level as fast as possible, Hoping you meet enemies.

Ever since I learned I was going to buy a Saturn I have been thinking of what games I want for it and I wanted Mega Man X4. The other 2 I found out about more recently but watching videos of them impressed me so much that I want to get them too now, I'll probably get all the stuff listed in this thread but I want to know what I should get first.

How about this? How about you spend some time doing google searches and read all the reviews and comments you can find about each game. If you still have a question about a specific issue that you can't find anywhere on the net, then post about it once and only once in the appropriate section. There is no need to constantly ask people here what you should buy. We don't know and we don't care.

You could've combined all three topics into one. It's not like people are incapable of responding to more than one question per topic, especially if they're relatively closely related.

Anyway, if you want my opinion, go for the one that's actually exclusive to Saturn.

Believe me I've watched all the reviews of the games I can find, every time I make up my mind one way I think of another thing and then I change my mind, considering i can get decent deals on any of the three things I listed. Also this topic originally started out as a what would you buy, not decide what I buy although the answers would give me an idea.

Yeah I'll admit I could have combined the three topics into one, iI wasn't going to make this topic at first but i need to make a decision by tomorrow so i need peoples opinions.

Is the RAM improvement thing only for Japanese games or is there US games that use it too?

Is Guardian Heroes anything like the Bleach fighting games on the DS? I think they look similar with the line jumping thing except that Guardian Heroes is a beat'em up and the Bleach fighting games are fighting games. They are also made by the same company. I would just like a confirmation on this

I'm already getting a few games with the Saturn I'm buying so they wouldn't be my first games though, but they would be my first major purchase of a Saturn game though.

Guardian Heroes is probably the best choice out of those 3 since it's exclusive. You may as well get it now rather than hunt a copy down later. I've heard Castlevania Symphony of the Night for Saturn isn't that good, the Playstation version is supposedly the better game. Never played Megaman X4, and the action replay you shouldn't buy until you actually have import games to play.

Go with Guardian Heroes.

Im pretty sure US release Marvel Super Heroes can use the ram cart also, but other then that I don't think any others do. US wise there really is a nice collection of games for the system, but if you import that will open you up to a huge library of high quality titles. Lots of arcade ports of shooters and fighters, ect. And there's just a really nice amount of original stuff released too. As far as how games are/ look like, hit youtube up for some gameplay videos.

I've made up my mind I'll get Guardian Heroes because it is the Exclusive to the Saturn. This topic did help me make up my mind thank you for all of your input. I'll get Mega Man X4 next time and skip out on Castlevania SOTN

The Action Replay is a must have for anyone who has a Saturn - Modded or not. You will need those 1M and 4M sooner or later. No matter what Action Replay you buy, make sure you test it ASAP. The first one I ever received was from a trusted DP member and was DOA even though it was NIB.
