Hey all,

I recently sold a SNES to a member of the shmups forums and found one of these while getting it all together: a Fire "dual-slot" converter that allows use of PAL games on NTSC systems (and vice versa).

I've had this for well over a decade and forgot I even owned it, but since I sold the SNES, well, I don't really need it now, do I?

I have no idea what the going rate on these things are nowadays, since from what I can surmise they are long out of production. Maybe some of our Euro members can give me a rough estimate on what this should go for?

(Also, if anyone wants to buy it, I'll certainly entertain offers ;) just be warned that it does not work with ALL games, later Nintendo-published titles tend to have more tricky lockouts - i.e. the Terranigma for sale in my other post will require additional system mods to play.)

I got my Pro action replay 2 that does the same thing for around 30 euros. I think around 30 to 40 is the standard price.

That's one of the better adapters out there and probably has something like 95% compatiblity...the exceptions being final first party games and various special chip carts. I would guess around 25 euro? Compare prices against the current going rate for a PAR2 if you can, as mentioned above they work about the same, but the Fire FX doesn't support cheat codes.
