Decent 2 Player Co-op games?

Hey, can anyone recommend me any really good 2 player co-op games? Specifically for either the Mega Drive/Snes or Playstation? Me and a mate are looking something beyond the usual add on 2player versus/co-op most games offer. Thanks! :)

Me and my friends played Super Bomberman (SNES) for years and it's without a doubt the best game in the Bomberman series. Get a multi-tap for 4 player action.

I enjoyed Secret of Mana and Contra LoW. I am on the bandwagon for there being more Co-op games out there. They seem to get harder to find as the newer Consoles come out.

You might be right. I know you can pick between two different players but I never actually played it in co-op. If my PS1 games weren't still packed away I'd go check right now.

The SNES Bomberman games are always a riot. They all have a battle mode, but I actually enjoy the normal mode more (the co-op normal mode).

Chocobo Racing My favorite Kart racing game. Mario Kart sucks in comparison.
Chocobo Dungeon 2 Second best Chunsoft series. Fun with one or two player. There's a glitch in the game that if the first player doesn't take the action the second player can move unlimited times and attack once per turn, then afterwards take the main characters turn(Chocobo,) then you can use the glitch again. Basically attack then get player two back to safety.

Diablo 2 The only reason to play this is to make the best character and to get the best equipment.

I love Forgotten Worlds. However, I don't have as much fun in the two-player mode because the other player takes away half the money. When you get to the shops, neither player can really afford anything.
