i recently got a virtual boy system with Mario's Tennis, which was the pack-in game for the system, but i was wondering, was Mario's Tennis available to purchase outside of the packed in version?
Perusing ebay i saw the japanese version of the game has it's own box, but i can't seem to find any for the US version.
thanks in advance

Yes..
I have a boxed Jap version..But that's all I can find..I want a US version boxed myself.
I bought mine off Ebay and it's Japanese...The auction was in the the US.....I'm not sure if this games was sold on US shelves though..That I would like to know..
These may be imports or just what was sold here...

Virtual Tennis was never sold seperately NEW in the US. There was a box for the US Virtual Boy Tennis cart however, but it was a display-only box at Blockbuster Video stores when they rented out VB games and systems. When BB started selling off all their VB games and systems, you were able to purchase Tennis used with this box.
