View Full Version : Colecovision binge tonight!!

Well, I've set up my Colecovision, got my driving controller working, and I'm ready to rock!! :D

Had a quick blast on Turbo, and then stuck in the Smurf game.

What do you do in that?

I seem to move and jump OK, I wander along quite happily jumping over fences and little hillocks, through a few caverns etc, and then a few screens in I get to some spider webs, and a little further is Smurfette, up on a platform, and it front of me is a big skull. I die if I touch it, I cant jump over it.....???????? >:(

Any ideas?

Jump in place once, then go for your real jump next. It'll be a higher jump.

I agree, to use the "joystick up" to jump was utterly stupid.
Especially with the fire buttons sitting there unused.

I don't know if you've got alot of games for the CV or not, but Destructor isn't bad w/ the Driving controller.

Miner 2049er, Pepper II, Lady Bug, and Montezumas Revenge (Except for the awful controls) are alot of fun as well.

If you've got 'em, Burgertime, Antarctic adventure, Spy hunter, and Tarzan are always good fun.
